    1. avatar image

      hard didnt finish 30 marks

    2. avatar image

It was grand in fairness it could've been worse everyone in my class thought it was really good as well cuz no curve ball came up

    3. avatar image

paper 1 was easy but the paper two studied questions were so hard :C

    4. avatar image

      Night Valdez

I didn't like it. The best part was the part with the Book Thief but it was hard to pretend it was unseen, I've read it and seen the movie. So that sucked

    5. avatar image

I was just writing, writing writing.....wasnt as bad as I it done by the skin of my teeth :D

    6. avatar image

It was okay but the unseen fiction at the end was hard!

    7. avatar image

They were both fairly easy, I just needed more time. :(

    8. avatar image

Was the fulmar about the poet wanting to take risks and have more trust? I was taking a stab in the dark πŸ˜πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜

    9. avatar image

@Cathy20155 I hope so, because that's what I said. xD

    10. avatar image

      Liam coakley

I said maybe the poet wanted to flyπŸ˜‚

I hated the studied poetry absolutey shit choice I had to try remeber a poem

    13. avatar image

Lads I said dulce et decorum est was a place 😭😡 #whenyouonlystudy1poem

    14. avatar image

i said dulce et decorum as place to and i studied 6 poems :/

    15. avatar image

the studied drama was basically improvised for me, messed it up totally :(

    16. avatar image

I only studied Daffodils so was delighted it fitted in! Ya tbh all paper 2 studied questions were difficult enoughπŸ˜– I'd swear I'm after answering them all wrong?

    17. avatar image

The studied poetry was terrible oh my god

    18. avatar image

Omg I found P2 so easy! Even the studied questions! Drama and poetry were a dream come true and unseen fiction seemed simple because I've seen the movie xD

    19. avatar image

I found paper 1 pretty ok. The unseen for paper 2 was fine but the studied drama was horrible

    20. avatar image

To the people who said Dulce et Decorum est is a place don't worry our teacher said if you described the PLACE they were and Owen's surroundings your fine.

    21. avatar image

I thought the entire paper 1 and 2 were bizarre, there was so many questions about stagecraft, acting and directing which I hated! I did dulce et decorum est for a place do even though i did loads of poems

    22. avatar image

I thought in general both papers were quite good as there were no real surprises. The studied questions seemed fine to me!! :)

    23. avatar image

i struggled with paper 2. paper 1 was a hell of a lot easier

    24. avatar image

and i did dulce for the place poem

    25. avatar image

Wait, would it be right to say Diggingg by Seamus Heaney for the relationship between man and the land? Even if it does fit in, I will probably get only 10 marks for them combined, as at that point in the exam, I wrote any old **** down. πŸ˜†

Oh goddamnit though, I really wanted a good result in English.. 😞

    26. avatar image

      Brenda needs to calm down

And who ever chose that comprehension deserves ants in their house

    27. avatar image

Guys forget all that! How did u find personal writing!!!!! What one did you choose?

    28. avatar image

actually I think I got an A+ in it

    29. avatar image

i did the one include the phrase...

    30. avatar image

      I did 'tremendous silence' wby?

    31. avatar image

      I did stargazing

      Pretty happy with it tbh

    32. avatar image

Brenda needs to calm down πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

    33. avatar image

@Diana @Cdevoy who's Brenda? And why does she need to calm down?

    34. avatar image

1234567 she was the character in the unseen other drama who started panicking when there was a wasp in her hair

    35. avatar image

I did tremendous silence too @1234567 I only had one essay for it and it needed to work ! Did anyone else find the comprehension difficult enough ?

    36. avatar image

      Oh right thanks granners πŸ˜‚

    37. avatar image

yeah the reading section had messed up qns

    38. avatar image

Nearly everyone in my class did the new skill personal writing and everyone either wrote about camogie or football πŸ˜‚

    39. avatar image

@costellocatherine I did the tremendous silence too, at first it seemed really easy but it was hard to get 3 A4 pages out of it

    40. avatar image

I'm never going to get over Brenda and that waspπŸ˜‚

    41. avatar image

I didnt base my story on tremendous silence all i did was stick a few sentences on silence into the essay I hope ill get my marks Paper two was so difficult there was no variety in the questions !

    42. avatar image

yeah it was all on being a director, which we never did!

    43. avatar image

Same i never saw that type of question before but for my poem all I did was digging by seamus heaney and had the theme of adults and children πŸ˜•

    44. avatar image

i said that war was a place with the poem dulce et decorum est, i didnt even describe the place at all just the man dying and how people shouldnt tell kids war is good

    45. avatar image

I was going to do that with the lake isle but my mind had a total blank

    46. avatar image

      Adam Harrington

Jesus Brenda will you calm down its just a wasp

    47. avatar image

the hardest part of the exam was the freaking reading.... and there's ordinary level ''letting it go with Frozen'' xD why the hell did we have to struggle and they got the child's play? :P

    48. avatar image

      Liam coakley

      Brenda is lighting up Twitter🐝

    49. avatar image

That comprehension was impossible didn't understand half of the words in it and as for the media studies anybody who done q 2 what were yere questions?

    50. avatar image

I thought the reading comprehension on paper 1 was hard, who is Mary BrΓΌck πŸ˜‚

    51. avatar image

Oh Brenda... I actually would have paid to see her little dance. πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ

Like cop on Brenda! Calm the ham! πŸ‘‹πŸ»

    52. avatar image

I feel like I'm the only one who did the unseen Shakespearean drama haha

    53. avatar image

@Hiphop my friend did the unseen Shakespearean drama too, but he had so much time left at the end, and believed that he had answered it badly, he also did the unseen Modern drama!

    54. avatar image

In general, I found both papers manageable. However, my hand did hurt after so much writing.

Also, if anyone wants to look back...

      Paper 1:

      Paper 2:

I feel CXonor13 might not want to check paper 2 out.

    55. avatar image

Ah I guess it wasn't too bad! I completed the paper and looked over the answers and it seemed fine by me!

And in our Exam we were allowed to keep the Papers, I don't know why, but we just were!

    56. avatar image

@Hiphop I did the unseen Shakespearean drama... the questions were so much easier xD

    57. avatar image

      David Connolly 123

I must be one of the only people not to use Dulce et Decorum Est for the places studied poetry question. I used the Lake Isle of Innisfree by W. B Yeats

    58. avatar image

    59. avatar image

      Nicola Madden

i done funeral blues for the studied poem for the place because thats the only poem i knew is that okay?

    60. avatar image

You could of said that the trenches in Dulce est Decorum est was a place

    61. avatar image

I did midterm break and talked about relationships.....

    62. avatar image

did stopping by woods and strongly regret it as their wasnt much sounds or imagery but i didnt think wintrr fitted in with th question 1

    63. avatar image

avril.doyle.980 I did Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening as well but I actually think it went okay...

    64. avatar image

All the seen stuff way ok but the unseen drama made me want to cry. In fact i think i teared up when i saw i think overall i might have got a b. fingers crossed

    65. avatar image
