      Na Blátha Craige freagra samplach

Rinne mé staidéar ar an dán "Na Blátha Craige" le Liam O'Flaithearta i rith mo chúrsa. Is é ábhar an dáin seo ná an Dúlra. Is amhlaidh go dtagann an file ar bhláthanna áirithe atá ag fás ar aill in aice na farraige. Síleann an file nach bhfuil an áit seo go

      deas.

      “Áit bhradach, lán le ceo”.

Tá ionadh ar an bhfile gur féidir leis na bláthanna fás ar bhruach na h-aille dá bharr. Dar leis an bhfile nach mbíonn an ghrian ag taitneamh go minic.

      “Ní scairteann grian anseo

      Ó Luan go Satharn”

Sa dara leath den dán úsáideann an file pearsantú. Freagraíonn na bláthanna an file. Deir siad go bhfuil siad go sona sásta san áit. Ceapann siad go bhfuil láidreacht speisialta ag baint leis an bhfarraige.

      “Táimid faoi dhraíocht

      Ag ceol na farraige”

Is dán fíor-mhaith é seo a léiríonn an dúlra mar phríomhthéama an dáin seo.

You could also add any of these phrases in if you wanted to (some maybe in there already)

      • Tá codarsnacht láidir sa dán seo idir an dá íomha a cuirtear os ár comhair amach.

      • There is a strong contrast in the poem between the two images put in front of us.

      • Is áit dearóil é, a deir an file linn.

      • The poet tells us the place is horrible.

      • Áfach, tugtar íomha iomlán difriúil sa dara chuid den dán.

      • However, we are given a different image in the second part of the poem.

      • Deirtear linn gur áit iontach deas sona é sa dara chuid den dán.

      • We are told the place is wonderful, nice and happy in the second part of the poem.

      • Is léir mar sin go bhfuil codarsnacht láidir sa dán.

      • It is clear that there is a strong contrast in the poem.

      • Sa dara leath den dán úsáideann an file pearsantú.

      • In the second part of the poem, the poet uses personification.

      • Tosaíonn na bláthanna ag caint leis an bhfile.

      • The flowers begin talking with the poet.

      • Deir siad go bhfuil siad faoi dhraíocht ag ceol na farraige.

      • They said that they were entranced by the music of the sea.

Rinne mé staidéar ar an dán “An t-Ózón” le Máire-Áine Nic Ghearailt i rith mo chúrsa. Is é téama an dán seo ná fearg / an timpeallacht / nádúr.

Sa dán seo, úsáideann an file pearsantú mar tá an ciseal ózóin ag caint i rith an dáin. Deánann an file é seo i stíl díreach simplí.

      “Mise an t-ózón”

Níl an ciseal ózóin sásta ar chor ar bith mar dar leis, tá an cine daonna i mbaol. Deánann an ciseal ózóin iarracht daoine a shaoradh / shábháil ó rudaí dainséaracha,

      “Chun tusa a shaoradh

      Ó iomarca gréine”

Ach dar leis an bhfile / an ciseal ózóin tá an cine daonna ag loit an timpeallacht agus níl daoine sásta aire a thabhairt don domhan agus é an choimeád slán sábháilte. Tugann sé rabhadh agus tá sé soiléir go bhfuil fear air,

      “Táim ag rá leat

      Aire a thabhairt”

Léiríonn orduithe an ciseal ózóin go bhfuil fearg ar an bhfile agus nach bhfuil sé sásta linn,

      “Ná loit rud ar bith”

Ba mhaith leis an bhfile go mbeadh meas ag daoine ar an domhan agus má ghlacfaimid a chomhairle, mairfamid,

      “Glac mo chomhairle

      Agus mairfidh tú”

Taitníonn an dán seo go mór liom mar tá sé lán de mhothúcháin. Tá sé soiléir go bhfuil fearg ar an bhfile toisc go bhfuil daoine ag loit an timpeallacht agus iarrann sé orainn aire a thabhairt don timpeallacht. Freisin, tá an-suim agam sa tíreolaíocht agus i meitéareolaíocht.

Rinne mé staidéar ar an dán “Subh Milis” le Séamus Ó'Néill i rith mo chúrsa. Is é téama an dán seo ná fearg.

Feictear beagán den fhearg sa dán seo ag tús an dáin nuair a chonaic an file subh milis ar bhaschrann an doras.

"Bhí subh milis ar bhaschrann an doras"

Gan dabht bhí an file ar buile, dúirt sé féin gur éirigh corraí ann.

      "Ach mhúch mé an corraí"

Bhí sé feargach mar bhí air an doras a ghlanadh. Ach roimh dheireadh an dán d'imigh an corraí mar thosaigh an file ag smaoineamh faoin todhchaí nuair a bheadh lámha a mhic glan.

      Beidh "an baschrann glas"

Beidh an páiste fásta aníos agus imithe as an teach.

Beidh an "lámh bheag ar iarraidh"

Cinnte tá beagán den fhearg sa dán seo.

i have only studied 2 poems - reoiteog mharfach and subh milis should i study an t-ozon too as in other links they claim subh milis cant be used?

    12. avatar image

      joecole

@Lonercia. In my opinion, Subh Milis can be used for "Tuismitheoir". You can discuss the parents' love for their child as they feel great sadness when thinking about the day when their child is grow up.

      "An lámh bheag ar iarraidh"

      SryanBruen

Aoibhin An t-Ózón is not a bad one to learn. It's very straightforward and you would learn it easily in no time. I would tell you to go ahead and study it! I studied it on me own, not with my class.

      jaynen112

Do you think that if i only learned Subh Milis will I be ok for the Junior cert unseen poetry?

    25. avatar image

      SryanBruen

Mathswhiz101 it really depends on the poem you learnt like some are very limited with themes whilst some have plenty of themes or common ones that come up. Well it is a good and very easy poem to study, so why not?

    26. avatar image

      SryanBruen

Jaynen112 I am very sorry but you can't just learn Subh Milis on its own. I'd advise you to 100% learn another poem, maybe my studied one, An Gleann inár Tógadh Mé? And do you not mean studied poetry? LOL

Subh Milis has fit in to every year so far, you probably could get away with it because there are so many themes. And it also has similar themes to the other poems like an T-ozon

I do have a sample answer for An tÁdh and here it is in this document. I remember I uploaded it somewhere before but I can't remember so here ya go. I guarantee, this will get you full marks if you copy it exactly like it is, just make sure you choose the right theme. I got a B in the JC for Irish (HL), I betcha the thing that got my mark down was the listening.

Here is my sample answer for An Gleann Inár Tógadh Mé

      (i) Rinne mé staidéar ar an dán “An Gleann Inar Tógadh Mé” le Dubhghlas de hÍde i rith mo chúrsa. Is é ábhar an dáin seo ná Grá.

(ii) Rugadh an file sa Gleann. Bhí sé an-sásta sa Ghleann nuair a bhí sé óg. Bhain sé taitneamh as na rudaí a rinne sé ansin,

"Shiúil sé ó áit go háit".

Bhí grá aige don dúlra. Luaigh sé an giorria agus an fia agus sruthán sléibhe. Thaitin an t-uisce fuar úr go mór leis,

"San uisce fíor ba mhór mo dhúil".

Bhí sé sásta sa Ghleann. Bhí grá aige don Ghleann. Ní raibh eagla air roimh aon rud sa Ghleann. Léim a bhád ar bharr na habhann.

Cheap sé go raibh sé ábalta breith ar an ngaoth. Cheap sé go raibh dath an óir ar gach rud ina áit dhúchais sa Ghleann,

      "sa ghleann inar tógadh mé".

Cheap sé go raibh sé ábalta aon rud a dhéanamh.
