It's quadratic trinomials and I can't get the answer to this. Could anyone do it clearly explained what you did please? Thanks so much
3x(squared) + 8x 3

leond429
3 squared plus 8 squared minus 3

Fischer
3x^2 + 8x 3
Brackets first
(3x )(x )
then multiply the coefficient of the x^2 by the constant, 3 x 3, and get 9.
then work out what two numbers can give a sum of +8, yet give a product of 9.
Numbers are 9 and 1.
Then fill in brackets
(3x 1)(x + 3)
