q2 part ii was 4 brand B and a brand A at 9.60 I think
geniuse — 10/06/16
for that i got 9 because 1.80(5)=9
geniuse — 10/06/16
the rest of them are right i think
Suitcasey114 — 10/06/16
I got Brand A was 1.80,so my total was 9.60,and p = 2y + 7.The rest seem to make sense
caolanf — 10/06/16
Actually wrote the both of those in the exam suitcasey114, just wrote them down wrong here
jacob lehane — 10/06/16
9A ii) I got three to the power of zero because any number to the power of zero equals to one
Jack_6934 — 10/06/16
How do you remember all the answers, have you got the test??
caolanf — 10/06/16
Got that too jacob lehane, you're right, just wrote it down wrong here, the test is on examinations btw
Jack_6934 — 10/06/16
Where I can't find them can you give a direct link
caolanf — 10/06/16

Thank God,when I saw you got a different answer for the number pattern,I got scared I made another mistake (I think I made a few, when I look at your answers),but if it's right,it's right. Also, geniuse,I think the question meant she had to buy them as they were so it would have been 3.60(5)=18.00 for 10l.Maybe I'm wrong I don't know
caolanf — 10/06/16
Think you're right about that
student331 — 10/06/16
Q14, for a, I got 10 and for b, I got -90. I think I did it wrong. I also got n=3s+1 for general term and I got 43 for the next part. and also for root 27, I got 3 to the power of 1 and a half I'm starting to get stressed now 😌 And what's q10? Is that the number line because I thought x was less than 4 for natural and intiger so I didn't include it.
student331 — 10/06/16
Also, at first I got the same answer as you for tick the box bit then I changed 2 of them because for some reason there was a 'never' box. It really confused me.
Elisha447 — 10/06/16
If I did fairly bad on this paper (around 50%) but got a lot better (like near 80%) on paper 2 would I still be able to get a c?? Does anyone know how to get the overall result
student331 — 10/06/16
If that's what you got, then I think you would get 65%. Good luck on p2. It's generally easier than p1 especially since you can learn off the theorems and constructions.
student331 — 10/06/16
Sorry, forget my comment about the numberline
Elisha447 — 10/06/16
Okay thanks and good luck too :)
Student90029 — 10/06/16
What does the new function look like in question 10 (b) part 2
Student90029 — 10/06/16
And for question 11 how did you get that answer? If they are the same answer wouldn't they just cancel out and then your answer would be 0 and then 4 divided into 0 by 0? I'm not sure though just wondering
Suitcasey114 — 11/06/16
It gives you 20x over 4 = 5 :) Just wondering what other people got for the last part of 8,I was convinced my answer was right, and thought nothing of it,whilst doing it,but half the country had problems, just wondering what other got
student331 — 11/06/16
Student90029 I think its supposed to be a w shape
Student90029 — 11/06/16
But if you get X squared +10x+25-(X squared +10x + 25) they cancel out as it signs changed, they ask in the question for the equation to be divisible by 4 not just the 10x+10x , I got 0 as I believe they cancel out and 0 divided into 4 0 times
Student90029 — 11/06/16
Was it meant to be a curve I herd what people are telling me but I got the opposite to what it was ?
davidkeenan12345 — 11/06/16
for 2 b i got 1/4
davidkeenan12345 — 11/06/16
anyone else get that
Sarah2014 — 11/06/16
for 2 a I said 0.01 would I still get marks because I didn't write 1/100???
AubernGene — 11/06/16
For question 13 I got 26a squared for the area of the square
student331 — 11/06/16
Davidkeenan, you had to change 0.5 to metres but I'd say you would get attempt markd
rocky123 — 11/06/16
For Q.6. (a) the correct order is 3.14 , pi , 22/7, root 10
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
Suitcasey, for the last part of 8 I got n= 3s+4, I think it is correct, it holds with the stages
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
Yes student 90029 I think it is meant to be a 'W' shape to, but not sure
Suitcasey114 — 11/06/16
Maybe I wasn't clear I got 3s +4,but I meant the bit about Yoko and got p = 2y + 7
Elisha447 — 11/06/16
I got n= 4 + 3s aswell !'
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
For 8 b to find the equation, I drew a graph to find slope. I then subbed the slope and two points into the ' y-y1= m(x-x1)' formula in which I got n= 3s + 4 What did anyone else do?
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
I got p= 2y + 4 I think for that one
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
What way did u go around your suitcases?
Suitcasey114 — 11/06/16
N = 1 +2S,so I subbed in y + 3 for s,and got N=2y + 7,and subbed in p for n to get p =2y + 7
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
I think that's right, I probably did mine wrong
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
Suitcasey, what did u say for 7 a, if u don't mind me asking?
Suitcasey114 — 11/06/16
No idea,if everyone found it so hard,it couldn't have been that easy, but it makes sense so..
MLGPRO — 11/06/16
Just leave it m8 It's done already
Aaron177 — 11/06/16
I think they should have used ' ' marks to make their point more clear, can be interpreted in many ways, but I heard they hav to hav the marking scheme reflect the toughness of some of the paper.
sophie544 — 11/06/16
For 4 I think 2 and 4 are never
Suitcasey114 — 11/06/16
For 7 a ,I got -1 over 11. I thought it was really weird when I got it,but when I subbed in it worked so it has to be right
sophie544 — 11/06/16
@suitcasey I got that and kept thinking o was wrong because it was such a mad number
M4321 — 11/06/16
Did people get a diamond shape with their line on q10 B) when you had to Draw h(x) squared draw the line
EH458 — 12/06/16
^^ no I just moved the line up so it would originate at the origin, I probably did it wrong though..
Stephen12343 — 12/06/16
For 1 b) ii i said 5 + 4 * (2+3) and for iii I said (5+4) * 2 + 3. Would I be given the marks as using the oder of operations i still get the right answers?
Stephen12343 — 12/06/16
For 2 ii) i put down 10 euro ass if you divide 5 by .75 litres i got 6.6 recurring which gives 10
EH458 — 12/06/16
For 2 ii) I got €9.60, anyone else? I used a combination of both... Something like 4 of the 750 ml ones which gives you 3 litres and one of the 2 litre ones which adds up to 5 litres. The price for the 750 ml ones is 1.50 x 4 = 6, and the price of the 2 litre one is 3.60, so 6 + 3.60 = €9.60
Student90029 — 12/06/16
I got a diamond shape too I think , the same shape but upside down and it then made a diamond in the centre?
Cunn16 — 13/06/16
