i need help learing the different types of bonding and atoms and stuff someone give me advice thanks
Think of the positive and negative charged ions like this
The left and right ventricles and atriums are opposite on the heart.
The positive and negative charged ions are opposite.
Like a positive charged ion is when an atom loses electrons - opposite of what you would normally think.
Like a negative charged ion is when an atom gains electrons - opposite of what you would normally think.
C for covalent, c for combine - i.e. a covalent bond is when an atom combines (shares) with another atom(s) to share electrons.
I for ionic, i for increase (i.e. gain electrons) - though it could also decrease (i.e. lose electrons) - remember that!

Then what do you need help with on the bonding and atoms? Please be a bit more specific
You needn't remember the different elements - you are given the periodic table in your exam in a tables book which the examiner will give you. You must know the different types of elements like the Halogens or Alkaline Earth Metals etc and which group they are. I have already told you about the different types of bonds above; ionic and covalent and a way of remembering them.
ionic bonding is when atoms give electrons to the other atom. The outermost shell must have 8 electrons The atoms do as little work as possible by moving the smallest amount as possible so if there is an atom with 7 electrons on the outer shell (chlorine) and another electron with 1 electron on the outermost shell (sodium) the 1 sodium electron will move to the chlorine atom. This means that since the chlorine has gained an electron it now has eight electrons in the outermost shell (it is also now negatively charged as there is more electrons than protons) and since the sodium atom lost an electron it has 8 electrons in the outermost shell (it is now positively charged as there is more protons than electrons)
