I have a test but I'm stuck on how to shortern down this experiment. The experiment is about on to investigate the action of salivary amylase on starch. Can anyone help me out with a shortened down version of the "method" of this experiment please?
Two test tubes.
Fill both with starch solution.(Bread and water mixed together)
Put amylase or saliva into one.
Leave in bath of water at 37 degrees Celsius
Test for reducing sugars by placing Benedict's solution in them both
Benedicts test for a reducing sugar
The tube that had amylase will turn brick red
The other on won't
