what constitutes as an Illustration?

Illustrations for pre-Christian art are grand, but for European art? we haven't enough time to redraw the Mona Lisa? i'm really confused about European Art illustrations

A quick sketch will do making sure you show the composition (where everything is positioned in the painting) and the most important thing is to label your sketch- pointing out anything you have mentioned in the answer. If you have time at the end of the exam go back and put in more shading and detail but don't waste too much time if you have not fully answered the question. Hope this helps!
