Answers to Exam Q's
by shanemacken2000 Leaving Cert Business — 10/12/16 7

I'm in 5th year and we've been doing HL Q's from our book at the end of the chapter and my business teacher said to do a bullet point of 3 lines and name, explain, example for every 5 marks. Is this enough for answers because it doesn't feel like there's enough substance?

Bullet points and the method of PQE (point, quote, explain) is what you have to do, so that's good. Depending on the question, your explanation should be longer than just one line. Hope this helped, best of luck :)

You should try and do an exam question from actual exam papers at least once a week and keep them in a separate copy, once you have maybe 3 or 4 done hand them up to your teacher and get him/her to mark it, I done this all through fifth year and ive been getting straight As in business! Just take ten minutes study the chapter real quickly and time yourself doing them, it seriously helps! Best of luck!! :)

http://www.thebusinessguys.ie/ewExternalFiles/Exam%20How-To-2.pdf Some pointers in here too - the examiners are looking for understanding and evidence that you have studies the course (keywords), avoid all waffle/padding and keep it to the point.
