Is Foster by Claire Keegan a decent novel for the LC HL English exam?
by gelly Leaving Cert English — 28/08/16 2

I've studied Foster by Claire Keegan for 5th year since my teacher chose the novel. It's a pretty short novel (8 chapters long) and I'm wondering if it'll give me enough to write about in the essays for LC Higher Level. If not, should I study another novel during 6th year instead?

I believe that Foster is a novel to be studied for the comparative section of the paper therefore the novel in my opinion is of decent size as you will also be discussing your two other texts. So in short,if it is being studied for the comparative you need not worry.
