Tips for studying Irish?
by caoimhe21 Leaving Cert Irish — 29/11/16 2

Irish is my weakest subject and I'm doing HL, I find parrot learning massive essays very hard and time consuming but I wouldn't be strong enough to construct my own grammar perfect A1 essay - and tips to make it easier?

I'm not particularly good at Irish myself but in learning a language, I'd say get your head around all the grammar, tenses, etc. rather than learn stuff off without fully understanding how they were written.

i am in the same boat as you Caoimhe! i used to love irish at junior cert but since i started 5th year i'm finding it exceedingly difficult! though what i find is like seba learning tenses is key and using the notes here on studyclix to summarize and understand pros etc. is really helpful hope that helps :)
