They arrange the timetable to ensure there is no overlap of exams. Therefore, somehow, across the entire country, not a single person sitting Applied Maths is sitting Religion (and vice versa).

Not true , you are held back and stay in a room with no internet or talk to anyone etc and then you sit the other exam a little while after

I assume there's a very small number if any who do both in those situations they probably make you do them one after another without getting to talk to anyone in between

apparently, don't quote me, they've never had a single person do both subjects. if they did though, they'd prob just take you from the applied Maths exam into an isolated room, give you a 30 minute break or smth with supervision and make you do the next exam straight after.
