Adaption of tissues?

Hi, how are muscle, blood and nervous tissue adapted to their functions? The marking scheme don't say, Thanks!

I was doing this question aswell a few days ago and asked myself the same question. Perhaps for nervous tissue it is the fact that they possess neurons. Muscle tissue I think it is as they have a number of cells spread out in a matrix. Connective tissue joins and supports other structures. If I am wrong, someone please let me know :)

Cardiac Muscle - many mitochondrion Nervous Tissue - myelin sheath to insulate impulse Muslces - contract and relax

Blood- the concave shape of red blood cells provides the cell with more surface area. They are also flexible allowing them to move through the narrow space of capillaries :relaxed:

What about plant cells(Meristematic,Dermal,Ground,Vasular) and animal connective tissue? thanks

How has epithelial tissue adapted to carry out its function?

muscle- contract shorten tighten nervous- contain mylin which speeds up nervous transmissons

Marking scheme is a bit of a let down, usually just says 'any response related to tissue given' if the previous question had 'name two types of animal tissue' and you said nervous and epithelial tissue then, you could say the myelin sheath and vesicles stated above but I dont know what you could say for the epithelial
