Subjects: Heavy Workload

I'm thinking of doing History, Geography and Business for the LC and I was wondering if this would be a very heavy workload. I've heard that the History and Business courses are very dense but I'm not sure about Geography. I've a good work ethic but I was wondering if it is realistic. If anyone does these subjects and could let me know that would be great. Thanks :)

businesses isnt that bad because for the long questions they give you three units you need to know each year so you only really need to know those in detail

I think there's a lot of essay work involved with geography and history. Business is quite easy

I do business geography and history. Geography and business overlap in small areas. If you like them go for it because its not hard to understand its just a matter of sitting down and studying.

Business has no project or field study either

Defo do business its a handy subject! Really consider history, easy enough content and good to be aware of but difficult exam - very time restrictive. You need to be relatively good at english as well, because its all essay based, of all the LC subjects i'd say its the most different from JC.

I do history and business. There is a lot of theory in business and it just comes to sitting down and learning the notes. Practicing exam questions is also a good thing to do when studying for business as a lot of what comes up would have most likely been in a previous exam. History I regret taking. I am not the fastest writer and in the exam you have to write 3 full length essays (approx 6 pages each), and then do a document q that has a mini essay involved. You can prepare for the document q and there is a project you do that is worth 20% of your final grade, which maes it slightly easier. Again, theory wise, once you get your head round it all, it's not that bad. I suppose I regret doing the subject due to the fact I simply can't write fast enough and that has impacted how well I do in tests
