I seriously don't recommend it. It's a really tough subject and even tougher to get a H1 in it. Okay, it's easier than Business I'll give you that, but most subjects are easier than it anyway. There's just nothing easy about it. It's incredibly confusing, there's a huge amount to learn and the marking schemes could not be nastier. If you're interested in it, go for it (but be prepared to work a bit), but definitely stay away if it's not your thing.
i done economics 4 months before the Laving cert and Got a H1.
its extremely easy. i guess thats why they are adding coursework on the new syllabus. Not as much memorisation as business. if you are quick in maths, somewhat decent at remembering terms in business you will fly in economics. good luck.
I currently do both and to be honest economics is much easier IMO. The key word element of business is less strict in economics, plus I have the course done in economics since October and we still have Unit 7 to do in Business. The guaranteed 4 questions (market structures, demand/supply/elasticity, national income and factors of production) really help so if you could nail down 3 of them it would be a major help. Also prioritise short questions, they seem easy enough but some ask specific theory questions which some may not do and they are the key to a high grade. :) best of luck
