In TY and have no idea what to pick for LC

So I've been struggling to figure out what I want to do in life nevermind LC subjects. I'm trying to keep as many courses open as I can for courses such as Medicine or Arts. I'm obviusly keeping up German as my language as well as Biology as I was good at it and enjoyed it at JC. The question is between: 1.Chemistry 2.Geography 3.Music 4.Business ...in no paticular order. I'm interested in Chemistry and the topics but I'm afraid I wont be very good at it. With Geography I got great grades and I am interested in it but I've heard horror stories of it beingh too hard. Music I studied at JC and found it a bit boring in parts but I compose in my spare time and (because I play trad) I know I'll get the full marks for the practival. With Business I'm good at learnin g big chunks of information but I'm afraid of using that slot instead of using it for a subject required for a course. I'm trying to keep courses open and that would mean picking Chemistry and of the above but I'd like to enjoy my education also. I'm scared I wont be happy with what I'm doing for the rest of my secondry education as I actually do enjoy school and would like to keep it that way, Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

If I were you I would do Music. LC music is boring but if you got a C+ you will be fine getting a H4/3+ for the LC. 95% of music students get an honour grade, it is considered the "easiest" LC subject. But don't forget that you can always switch subjects! You can swap for another subject timetabled in for the one you want to swap, usually this is done no later than Christmas. IE if you pick Chemistry and hate it/are struggling with it, and there is a Music class on at the same time, you can swap to music no problem. A lot of people end up doing this. Chemistry is only required for 2 courses, I think both of them are related to Veterinary in UCD.

hey, I only do Geography out of them options! I can honestly say if you enjoyed Geography in the JC the LC course will be no bother at all. Its very similar and you have the basic knowledge from the JC which is a HUGE advantage. It is a big course, but when you sit back and think ,if you enjoy it i honestly promise you, it will be a breeze. Its so easy! Its only hard for the people who let it all pile up on themselves and that calls for every subject in the LC, nevermind just Geography. This is coming from someone who isnt Academically smart and is quite laid back with school. Please dont worry! As they said up there, you can always change classes if you aren't feeling it!!

Chemistry is over talked about for being hard. I think if you enjoy it do it! Science is easier for me becuase you arnt maked forwriting ability but instead facts.
