History DBQ worry !!

For the DBQ can they ask abstract questions? Like say for the moon landing could they ask about advances in US space technology up to 1989? Or do the questions have to be based on the event? Help! Roughly how many essays are people learning for each DBQ topic???

Also would I need to learn an essay on the impact of the moon landing on US domestic and foreign affairs? Like I dont want to waste my time learning something that wont be asked but is there a chance that something this abstract could be asked?

I just have three titles that I'm learning: the impacts or the moon landing, how it developed why it's accepted that the US won and why the moon landings are considered the highlight of the space race. That's all our teacher said to learn! :)

Oh shoot, I'm so sorry, I'm only seeing this now! Guessing it's too late..... Basically the first project is about how the USSR were ahead at first, the second is about the space programmes and how the USSR had fallen behind, the third is the propaganda afterwards, and the fourth is the tech advancements (like freeze drying food and fireproof materials) that happened as a result. It's mostly just an adaptation of the other titles to fit the question

I just did a broad essay for both the moon landing and boycott and then can kinda just bring the question into my answer
