Listening to music

Im in 6th year and i use lofi music on low volume to help stay concentrated when doing homework and studying. I find for me it helps but i was wondering if it is okay to do this to stay concentrated ??

As my teacher always tells us you may find it hard to adapt in an exam condition where there is complete silence so might aswell start getting used to studying in complete silence now so you will not struggle with it later on.

As Busola said, you won't have the music to help you during the exam. But if the music helps you process the information faster when you're studying then go right ahead.

I think music is great to listen to in any subject other than essay intensive ones, I feel it distracts me when I'm trying to write essays but not with maths. I disagree that it'll affect your exam capabilities, study is always a much more relaxed environment, music or not, you might as well enjoy it as much as you can
