Group singing music practical

Does anyone know whether its hard to get good marks if you do group singing for the lc music practical? Im an average singer and i wouldnt be the loudest singer. Would i be better off doing an instrument?

Depends how good you are on the instrument. I wouldn't say it's harder to get marks as a group but go through the marking scheme and make sure you can do everything they're looking for, eg sing out well, hold your line, don't just rely on others. Pretty sure it says something like "candidate is a very strong member of ensemble". You could also sing on your own with accompaniment, might be better if you're not a very loud singer.
