i just want to rant ;-;

does anyone find it near impossible to write substantial essays for half the topics we learn in subject? If I'm lucky my textbook gives me a hearty paragraph, from that i can mould it into something decent but then i'm left with nothing else to build upon to get anywhere near 40 marks for an essay. also my teacher has never specified but I've learnt from her past students that she marks higher considering the length of your essay but ofc this feels like an unreachable goal with the little help textbooks and syllabus specific content gives. how tf do you have enough to write about ? i end up doing hours of outside research just to find something usable. how are yous dealing with this subject ?

crash course and school of life are your best friends for LC religion. type in a philosophers name and then school of life, or a morality concept and then crash course, and something useful always comes up; they're specifically godsends for the search for meaning and morality sections, for world religions there's a few really helpful books and tactics to use
