Repeating my Leaving Cert

I took the LC in 2019 and didn't get enough points for the course I wanted so I have decided to repeat. Am I allowed to just repeat by not going back to school or one of those repeat programmes? I would just like to study from home. Also, they say they have exam centres where you can take the exams but then the info says you need to ask a school? How does it work with a oral? If aynone reads this, that has repeated the leaving cert from home and took subjects like bio and chem and didn't take the exams in a school. Or can answer my questions or is doing this right now, it would be very beneficial. It's all just very confusing for me. Also, I'm aware how hard it is blah blah atm I'm just very confused about things and really need the information from anyone that may know it all. Thank you in advance.
