This is worth 30% of overall marks. It is a 1.5-hour common-level paper.
Classroom-Based Assessments
Students must complete 2 CBAs. CBA 1 is titled 'Wood Science in Our Environment' and CBA 2 is titled 'Student Self Analysis and Evaluation'. For CBA 1, students must research a wood science-related issue and present their findings through any appropriate media. For CBA 2, students must critically review their coursework. This encourages students to practice self-evaluation.
Assessment Task
Students must complete a project after CBA 2. It is based on a brief set by the SEC. This is worth 70% of overall marks.
