LC Physical Education is currently only available to Leaving Certificate students in phase schools. This means that examination in this subject will be limited to students of the phase schools at the 2020 and 2021 Leaving Certificate examinations. The subject is made up of:
- a final written exam worth 50%
- a physical activity project to be completed under the supervision of the class teacher, worth 20% of the marks,
- a performance assessment to be completed under the supervision of the class teacher, worth 30% of the marks available for this subject.
