Studyclix provides Irish secondary-level students and teachers with innovative exam preparation tools and exam-specific content: Studyclix makes exams easier.
We are a fully remote, diverse and fun team. We work flexible hours and use digital tools to enable us to work effectively and asynchronously as a team.
The role
We are currently looking for a SaaS sales specialist for our Irish market. You will be working in a sales team with a customer success manager and a sales fulfilment specialist, and report to our head of sales. In busy sales periods, the team works very closely together to ensure success and make sure everyone is working to their strengths.
Key Responsibilities
- Exploring new avenues for revenue streams.
- Acquiring new sales leads and closing deals.
- Nurturing existing relationships and ensuring renewals.
- Managing and updating details of our relationships within a CRM (Hubspot).
- Liaising with our customer success manager to ensure a smooth handover of clients.
- Achieving set sales targets
- Communicating with prospective & existing clients (Zoom/phone calls & email)
- Work closely with our marketing lead and run campaigns (with help of a CRM)
- Attending conferences and events to represent the company (occasionally held on weekends and/or weekday evenings).
- Providing training sessions to schools.
Know What We’re Looking For
- Experience with working in sales (particularly SaaS) in the past.
- Someone who can demonstrate a high level of skill in the areas of communication, relationship building, organisation, sales presentation and time management.
- Ability to show initiative and be self-led
- Excellent communicator, written and verbal - very good at presenting in front of groups and on Zoom.
- A go-getter and a hard-working individual who makes things happen
- Experience & knowledge of the Irish secondary school system
- English or Irish as your first language
- Comfortable using Google Suite, CRMs, and Microsoft Office as well as presenting via Teams, Zoom and other virtual platforms.
Must-haves
- Full driver's licence
- Willingness to occasionally travel within Ireland to attend sales events or meetings.
Nice to Haves
- Previous experience using a CRM (we use HubSpot)
- A degree in a business-related field
- Fluency in Irish
- Experience working in an education-related background, particularly in Irish secondary schools.

- This role is advertised as a full-time role, 5 days a week, but we are open to discussion about flexibility around this. Our busy sales periods are seasonal, so while we need a 5-day working week from the perfect candidate during the academic year (August-May), we are open to providing extended leave during our quiet season (June-July).
